Adding Multiple non consecutive dates to the calendar

I would like to be able to add multiple dates to my calendar at one time that are the same event, but non-consecutive dates. For example I have conferences Tuesday and Thursday this week, but I either have to enter each date individually or enter it in for the entire week. I also have recurring events each month that I would like to enter in all at once.
