Changing Date of Special Events

Today I added a special event, and then realized I had accidentally chosen the wrong date. I clicked on "edit," but wasn't given the option to change the event date, only the information I had entered describing the event. I ultimately had to delete the event and re-add it. It would have been super helpful to be able to just edit the date.
