overall notes for the day, not specific to a class.

I am in need of a notes section for the entire day that is not specific to a particular class. For example, on assembly days for the entire school, I could have a note for that day about it, and it does not get lost in one of my classes. To remedy this for now, I will just create an extra class named "ALL". That is where I will put my notes for the day for all classes.
