Sync unit lesson plans and weekly lesson plans

Hi!
There seems to be a bug that causes the unit lesson plans to override lesson plans composed in the week view. In other words, when I write plans in week view they do not sync or update in unit overview. Is the design intentional - should I always work on lesson plans in unit view?
