Please bring back the ability to drag and drop cards within lessons/unit plans in the new Lesson Editor
I just switched over and in the Outline view, which is where I primarily plan my units and long-term lessons, the ability to drag and drop cards to move them and rearrange the order of things in the lesson or unit plan is gone. It is available on every other view (day, unit timeline), but none of the other views make it so easy for me to see my overall unit plans alongside my individual lesson plans for each day. This function just disappeared when I switched to the new Lesson Editor

Course Start & End Dates (Within the Same School Year)
I would love the ability to set specific start and end dates for courses. For example, I teach at the HS level and we follow a block style semester schedule. I teach 3 of my classes from August to January and then switch to teach 3 new classes from January to June. Right now, it when I pull the outline view or units schedule, each class has half of a year with no data, and it looks incomplete. I would love for the unit/calendar views to display my new courses starting right at the end of the previous to keep everything in one space, and tidy.

Most teachers need to have their learning intentions displayed in their classrooms, but many other parts of their lesson plans would also be helpful to display. Instead of having to create lessons in Common Planner and somewhere else that better displays on a TV or Interactive Flat Panel, it would be nice to have the ability to show the Common Planner lesson plans in full screen.

Printing options - select days to print
I would like to print out a weekly view of my lessons, but I would like to be able to select which days to print. I currently only teach certain classes three days a week as my students are out on internships the other two. It would create a much more useful printout if those three days could be spread across the page rather than holding blank spaces for the other two.

Time scrolling on day view
I would love it if there was a way to see the current time in day view, or even if it pulled up the current class when I opened day view instead of having to scroll. Having my class times in there is handy, but having to check the time, then check where in the schedule I am complicates things (especially since I teach at multiple schools with different timetables and figuring out what day/time it is is hard).

Add Sunday for a preview day
Could we have Sunday as a week preview day, please? Current workaround is to load Monday with the week preview. This, visually and spatially, makes the daily title flow inconsistent. Not a biggie, but sure would make things easier to see for admins. Thank you. :)

Add standard chat/font tools to the Title boxes on the cards.
Would like to be able to “enter” a new line on the titles. Could be accomplished through “shift”>”enter” like in a chat, or with your font tools popup. Thank you for your consideration. :)

Ability to hide standards
I think the standard field and the ability to search for and add them is extremely convenient, helpful, and easy to use. That being said, the standards can definitely be a bit of an eyesore, both on the web page and when printing. If you have 6-7 lessons in a day, and each lesson can often involve 3-4 (or more) standards, they can end up taking an absurd amount of space. Since they are most useful for searching past plans to see what you have/haven’t covered yet, I don’t think they really need to be visible constantly. A little switch/button on the page somewhere that you could toggle to “Show/Hide standards” would be phenomenal and could clean up the web view quite a bit. I know you can obviously just remove the standards field entirely to avoid this issue, but then you lose out on using them entirely, which isn’t great either. In that same vein, I appreciate that you can switch to “Show only code” when printing, but, at least for me, 90% of the time plans are printed, there is no need for standards to be shown at all. Whether they’re for a sub or just printing myself to remember the plans without my phone/laptop, I definitely don’t need the standards, code only or not, printed. An additional option to “Hide” standards when printing would also be very helpful (and save paper).

Calendar events specific to one team or class
As a common planner admin for my school, I love that I can add events to the school’s calendar and it will immediately appear on that date(s) within everyone’s plans. That said, however, there are some events that don’t apply to the whole school. It would be really convenient if there was an option for events to only be visible to specific teams (Middle school, for example) and/or specific grades/classes. At my school, Grades 5th through 8th swap classes/teachers. So, if 8th grade, for example, is gone for a day due to a field trip, I would love to be able to add that field trip event into the calendar only for the 5th through 8th grade teachers. That way, those teachers that have 8th grade will know they’re gone that day, and all the other teachers, who don’t have 8th grade, won’t even see it since it doesn’t apply to them.

Title Optional
I would like the option to remove the title card for some classes. This is because I create a “to-do” class for each day, to set general deadlines, daily to-do’s. But for this, the title takes up space and it bothers me that it is blank.

Turn off permissions for specific subjects in a team planner
For a team planner I wish you could turn off someones permission for a subject. So if you plan reading and your teammate plans math you can share the same planner but my teammates permissions are turned off for reading so she can’t type into or mess up my reading plans.

Time options
It’s WONDERFUL that we can now add times to the lessons. It would be great if instead of EVERY day at the same time and not the same time, there was a combination of these. I frequently see students at the same time but it’s only on MWF or TTh. Having to enter that as not the same time every day is an extra step. I’d love to be able to enter the time once and then select the appropriate days.

Date always at the top?
I wish the date would stay displayed at the top of each day, even when I scroll down. Sometimes I don’t realize I’m on a different day and I end up editing the wrong lesson :/ Thanks!

Have a way of presenting two different lessons at the same time like a split screen for split classes. In where I have to demonstrate learning targets for both grade level at the same time.
