I have had a chance to play around with the AI tool. I really like how it is able to fill in individual cards in the lesson plan template that I have set up for each class. It seems that all I really need to do is, at minimum, fill out my purpose/ objective card and the AI is able to fill in the rest. I also like that I can use the "undo" button to remove the AI generated content from individual cards. The custom AI prompt is pretty good at making specific adjustments that I request. At first I was disappointed that I couldn't get the AI to find and select standards on the Standards card, but then I realized that standards are really something that I should be selecting myself… It's enough that I can select standards, a topic and a first pass at writing an objective and have the AI suggest the rest. It seems that your card approach to lesson plan templates helps structure the AI generated content quite a bit. When I have used ChatGPT or other more open-ended Education AI tools, I have to take a lot more care in writing my prompts to get the output that I want. Now, if your tool could generate a slide-deck for each lesson that I could share to students or use to teach… that would be something.
