Give users option to let unit topics affect written lessons that are attached to dates or NOT

I am so tired of units and class format messing with my lessons that were set for certain dates if I change units or class formats. Maybe give users the option to move/change unit topics and lesson formats WITHOUT affecting the written lessons that were put down each day. That made me stop using Cc for a year. :-/ Now it happened again. I'm giving up now.
