I could edit a card's text without having to click out of it

When I realize I have made a typo, I cannot go back to fix it without keying to it with the arrow keys or clicking out of that card and clicking back in where the error is. Maybe it's just my browser or OS. I'm on Firefox on a Mac, but have also had the same issue at school on Chrome on Windows.
