In the year view if the days when a particular group was not being taught it could be hidden or instead the cards appear in sequence like an overall unit planner. This would minimise the unnecessary rows on the screen and make the workflow more realistic.

I love the way the week view and it would be really great to see a similar layout for just a teaching group. This way in a single window you could see a snap shot of what has been taught and what still needs to be covered.
