I have a few specific features that I believe would greatly enhance the functionality of the common curriculum website for teachers:Lesson Filtering: One of the key features I'd like to see is the ability to filter lessons in the Unit Timeline. It would be incredibly helpful if I could choose which grade levels and subjects I want to be visible. For example, I should have the option to display Grade 8 and Grade 9 English lessons while hiding Grade 10 and 11 English lessons, allowing for a more customized and streamlined experience.Current Date Highlight: Another essential feature I envision is the constant highlighting of the current date. It would be beneficial if the current day's date is prominently displayed within each unit of every subject. This way, I can easily keep track of the ongoing schedule and stay organized in my teaching.Day Column Highlight on Hover: To further improve usability, I suggest implementing a feature where the day column is highlighted when I hover my cursor over it, regardless of the unit I'm viewing. This functionality would facilitate quick comparisons across different units for any given day, enhancing overall navigation and efficiency.These features would significantly contribute to a more user-friendly and productive experience for educators like myself on the common curriculum website.
