you could see two or more classes that follow the same unit of work side by side in the month view

This would make it easier to keep lessons in sync between group a and Group B who are taught the unit in parallel, where possible. It would certainly save time when having to copy can past the same information for both groups with out having to navigate back and forth from one class to the other.
